Sammy Sosa Hits #63 at Qualcomm in S.D. AP

This week in San Diego, Mr. Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs hits his 63rd home run of the season to tie Mark McGuire. Now this is history, right! I was not in S.D. for the game, but you should hear the S__T that is being tossed around this “town”. The “players” are upset because the crowd got all excited to see this home run. I mean the players are PISSED! Believe it or not, there are even “fans” that are having a problem with how there were fireworks and big cheers going to Sammy for this event.

Are these fans for real? Are the players just big babies? Sure the Padres have clinched the West (National) and are going to the playoffs. Sure the Padres are having one of the best seasons they have ever had. But, folks, give me a break. History is being made. How often do you get to see History being made? Come on. Are you really fans?! I mean BASEBALL fans, not BANDWAGONERS! You losers in San Diego must ask yourselves, Are you there because you love the game of baseball, or are you there because your team, for once, is playing well?

Sammy: Congratulations. A standing ovation here. If I had fireworks (they are illegal you know), I would set them off.

Padres: Yeah, you won your division. Good job. Win the World Series and then you will be part of history too, but for now, QUIT YOUR WHINING AND CONCENTRATE ON YOUR JOBS, jerks.

P.S. Tony Gwynn is excluded from this and any other bad remark given to the Padres. He is the ONLY Padre player that gets it. My hat goes off to you Mr. Gwynn.
